Year 13 is a privately funded post-school program for young people with additional learning or support needs. It provides an extra year to build practical life skills, workplace confidence and a clearer direction for what comes next.
The program is designed for young people with additional learning or support needs who are finishing school or have recently finished and would benefit from more time to prepare for adult life.
No. Post School Pathways operates as a privately funded program and does not bill through the NDIS.
Post School Pathways offers three specialised 12-month programs: Post School Employability Skills, Post School Skills for Life, and Social Connections & Dateability. Each program focuses on different areas of adult life and can be chosen based on the young person’s goals, interests and support needs.
Work experience and volunteering opportunities are included within the Post School Employability Skills program, helping students practise workplace skills and explore different employment pathways.
